Seven people were killed as a bus hit a battery-run auto-rickshaw (locally known as Easybike) and motorcycle in Sadar upazila of Pirojpur on Friday.
Among the deceased, four were identified as Swapan, Naim, Hemayet, and Khairul.
Sadar Police Station officer in-charge Ashiquzzaman said the incident occurred in Beltala area around 12 noon that left seven people, so far, dead.
"We are at the scene. Details would be provided later," he added.
The bus is believed to have hit the Easybike and the motorcycle after a brake failure, fire official Md Rezwan said.
He said they recovered the bodies of three people from the spot and four others died at a hospital.
