Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission has increased the prices of liquified petroleum gas (LPG) by Tk 8 to Tk 1,482 per 12 kg cylinder.
BERC Chairman Md Nurul Amin announced this on Sunday afternoon.
The new prices will come into effect from 6 pm today (March 3).
According to the fresh prices, 12.5 kg cylinder will now cost Tk 1544, 15 kg Tk 1,853, 16 kg Tk 1,976, 18 kg Tk 2,223, 20 kg Tk 2,470, 22 kg Tk 2,717, 25 kg Tk 3,088, 30 kg Tk 3,706, 33 kg 4,076, 35 kg Tk 4,323 and 45 kg Tk 5,558.
Earlier, the government increased LPG prices from Tk 1,433 to Tk 1,474 per 12 kg cylinder for January.
