A court in Naogaon on Wednesday sentenced a young man to life-term imprisonment in a drug case.
The lifer is Raihan Mondal, a resident of Astagram village in Patnitala upazila.
Judge SM Moniruzzaman of Additional District and Sessions Judge Court-4 delivered the verdict.
The court also fined him Tk 10,000 and in default, he will have to serve six months more in jail.
Prosecution lawyer advocate Mozahar Ali said Raihan was arrested along with 50 grams of heroin.
