This year's Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and its equivalent examinations begin nationwide on Thursday with the Bangla First Paper.
According to sources in the Inter-Education Board Coordination Committee, as many as 20,24,192 students under 11 education boards appear for the tests.
Professor Tapan Kumar Sarker, president of the coordination board and chairman of Dhaka Education Board, told Jago News all preparations to hold the SSC exams are done. There is no chance to leak questions and the law enforcers will take action if anyone spreads rumors in this regard.
The National Monitoring and Law and Order Committee formed to hold SSC exams fairly asked all the coaching centers to close for a month from February 13 to March 12 during the SSC and its equivalent examinations.
