A mobile court here on Friday jailed three people - two each to nine months and another one to three months imprisonment - on charge of trafficking 57 tortoises of different rare species at Shakhari Bazar area in the old part of the capital.The accused are -two brothers ,Pronir Chandra Das, 49 and Prodip Chandra Das, 47 and the other is Kartik Chandra Das, 35.The RAB magistrate said they are identified tortoises traffickers and they are doing this illegal trading since long in the city and its adjoining areas.
