Some 671 leaders and activists of Dhaka North City unit Jatiya Party (JaPa) have stepped down bringing an allegation of wilfulness against the party chairman and secretary general.
Shafiqul Islam Sentu, who was recently expelled as convener of the JaPa unit, announced the mass resignation in a press conference at Jatiya Press Club in the capital Dhaka on Thursday.
