BNP has sought permission from Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) to hold a discussion meeting on the occasion of the 88th birth anniversary of its founder Ziaur Rahman.
The party sent a letter signed by Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi to the DMP commissioner on Tuesday, to allow it to hold the program at the Institute of Engineers Bangladesh (IEB) in the capital Dhaka on Thursday (January 18).
