The voting in a polling station of Mymensingh-3 seat, which was suspended on allegations of irregularities and violence, will be held on January 13.
Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Kazi Habibul Awal said this at Nirbachan Bhaban in the capital Dhaka's Agargaon area on Monday afternoon.
He said the election was held peacefully in the country. But the voting in a polling station of Mymensingh-3 seat was suspended on allegations of irregularities and the voting there will be held on January 13.
The voting in the 12th general elections was held across the country on Sunday (January 7), with low turnout and sporadic violence.
In the polls, the ruling Awami League secured an absolute majority by winning in 223 constituencies.
