Awami League presidium member and ruling Awami League candidate of Dhaka-13 constituency Jahangir Kabir Nanak has said those who are opposing democracy and vote are the enemy of the country as well as the democracy, reports BSS.
"Those who are opposing the vote politically are the enemy of the country and the democracy also", he told the Journalists after casting his own vote at King Faisal School and College on Sunday morning.
Nanak said the cross-section of people is now being thronged at the vote centers amid festive manner by ignoring them who are opposing the vote and the democracy as well.
As the cold gripped across the country, so the voter turnout will be increased in course of time, he said, adding "voters are already coming and they are voting with enthusiasm and stimulation."
Calling the voters, the ruling party leader said "I just appeal the voters please come to the polls center, vote and perform your national duty."
