Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) on Friday predicted that weather may remain dry with a partly cloudy sky over the country in the next 24 hours commencing 9 am today.
"Night and day temperature may rise slightly over the country," said a met office bulletin.
Moderate to thick fog may occur at places over the southern part of the country and light to moderate fog may occur elsewhere over the country from midnight to tomorrow morning.
The Ridge of Sub-continental high extends up to West Bengal and adjoining areas. Seasonal low lies over South Bay.
The highest temperature on Thursday was recorded at 29.5 degrees Celsius in Srimangal of Sylhet Division while today's minimum temperature was recorded at 09.6 degrees Celsius in Tetulia of Rangpur.
The sun sets at 5.17 pm today and rises at 6.38 am tomorrow in the capital.
