BNP announces fresh programmes for 4 days

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) have announced a four-day fresh programme to press home its demands for holding polls under a non-party caretaker government, and to dissuade people from voting in the January 7 election.

The party will hold mass contact programmes across the country on December 21, 22 and 23. Additionally, it will also observe a countrywide dawn-to-dusk blockade on December 24.

The party’s Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced the fresh programme at a virtual press briefing on Wednesday afternoon.

Earlier in the day, BNP urged the country’s people not to cooperate with the government in all aspects from today and boycott the upcoming general election.
