Soumya Sarkar's 169 off 151 balls helped Bangladesh post a challenging target of 292 runs against New Zealand in their second ODI game of the three-match series in Nelson on Wednesday.
The second highest 45 runs came from Mushfiqur Rahim's bat while Mehidy Hasa Miraz scored 19, Tanzim Hasan Sakib 13 and Towhid Hridoy 12.
For New Zealand, Jacob Duffy and William O'Rourke bagged three wickets each while Adam Milne, Josh Clarkson and Adithya Ashok took one each.
However, the Tigers conceded a 44-run defeat to the Black Caps in the first ODI.
