Two dengue patients died and 308 were hospitalized in the last 24 hours.
With the latest death, a total of 1,676 people died of dengue to date this year, a Directorate General of Health Services press release said on Thursday.
Currently, 1,823 people diagnosed with the mosquito-borne disease are taking treatment at different government and private hospitals in and outside the capital of Dhaka.
Of them, 537 are being treated at the facilities in the capital while 1,286 are in other divisions.
As many as 3,18,613 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country since January 1 this year.
Some 3,15,114 out of the hospitalized patients, however, recovered during the period.
