Cumilla City Corporation Mayor Arfanul Haque Rifat has passed away.
He breathed his last around 6:30 pm on Wednesday (Bangladesh time) while undergoing treatment at Mount Elizabeth Hospital, Singapore.
Cumilla City unit Awami League President AKM Bahauddin Bahar MP confirmed the matter to Jago News.
Arfanul Haque was also the general secretary of the district AL.
