Google year in search 2023 has unveiled a list of trending personalities in India, which made the audience curious this year. The list features two prominent Bollywood celebrities - Kiara Advani and Sidharth Malhotra.
The list is dominated by Kiara Advani, who holds the first spot in the People list, while Sidharth Malhotra took over the sixth number.
Interestingly, the couple got hitched in February this year in Rajasthan. Having dated for a few years after their hit film 'Shershaah', Sidharth and Kiara became the most popular couple in B-Town.
Apart from these two actors, Satish Kaushik and Friends star Matthew Perry were also searched in India, as their names appeared in the top trending searches in India (news events). Both the celebrities breathed their last in 2023, Satish Kaushik passed away on March 9 and Matthew Perry passed away on October 28.
Shahid Kapoor marked his OTT debut with Farzi this year and this popular crime drama emerged as the most searched show this year. Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan took over the third spot in the film search rankings globally. Gadar 2, Pathaan, Oppenheimer, The Kerala Story, Jailer and Leo among others were massively searched in India. Arijit Singh’s soulful rendition of Kesariya, starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, secured the second spot on the global list of most searched songs.
