BCB to look for new surgeon for Mustafiz

According to Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) sources, cutter master Mustafizur Rahman will meet Professor Lennard Funk, another specialist surgeon of England, to seek advice regarding the shoulder injury of the pace bowler.The pacer is about to visit Lancashire on Tuesday in this regard and he will be having discussion with Funk, who is a Surgeon at Wrightington Hospital of Lancashire.AGM Sbbir, Professor of St Peter’s College, will accompany Mustafizur following the instructions of BCB.BCB is trying to take an appointment from Lennard Funk. Previously they have tried to contact with Greg Hoy, the Melbourne based specialist surgeon of neck, shoulder and hands but is yet to receive any response due to weekly holidays in Europe and Australia.Lennard Funk is a shoulder and upper limb surgeon and also professor of Orthopedic and sports medicine at Salford University.Earlier, the left-armer took suggestion from Tony Cocher, another expert of this field, who said that Mustafiz beeds surgery to cure the injury.
