Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission has increased the prices of liquified petroleum gas (LPG) by Tk 23 to Tk 1,404 per 12 kg cylinder.
The new prices will come into effect from 6 pm today (December 3), BERC Chairman Md Nurul Amin said in a press conference on Sunday.
According to the fresh prices, 5.5 kg cylinder will now cost Tk 644, 12.5 kg Tk 1,463, 15 kg Tk 1,755, 16 kg Tk 1,872, 18 kg Tk 2,107, 20 kg Tk 2,340, 22 kg Tk 2,575, 25 kg Tk 2,926, 30 kg Tk 3,551, 33 kg 3,862, 35 kg Tk 4,096 and 45 kg Tk 5,266.
Earlier, the government increased LPG prices by Tk 18 from Tk 1,363 to Tk 1,381 per 12 kg cylinder for November.
