Members of Counter Terrorism and Transnational Crime unit have arrested an alleged member of Ansarullah Bangla Team (ABT) from Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST) campus.
Officer-in charge of Jalalabad Police Station Akter Hossain said members of Counter Terrorism unit with the help of Jalalabad police arrested Iffat Ahmed Chowdhury alias Nahid, a student of Insustrial and Production Engineering department from campus for his alleged involvement with ABT on Tuesday around 1pm.
Earlier, July 18, police picked up Abdul Aziz for his alleged connection with ABT.
Professor Dr. Rashed Talukder, proctor of the SUST confirmed the incident.
