Miscreants set fire to three buses of GM Travels Paribahan which were parked at Patwari Filing Station in Mohishbhanga area beside Bonpara-Hatikumrul highway in Borigram upazila of Natore early Monday.
Natore-4 (Boraigram-Gurudaspur) Siddiqur Rahman Patwari is the owner of the filling station.
Nazmul Hossain, who worked at night shift in the filling station, said they tried to extinguish the fire and also informed the fire service. Later, firefighting members rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control.
At least ten buses of GM Travels Paribahan and RKR Paribahan were parked at the filing station, he said.
Safiul Azam Khan, Officer-in-charge of Boraigram Police Station, said being informed, a team of police was sent to the spot. Several police teams are working to detect the miscreants.
