Miscreants set a bus of 'Ajmeri Paribahan' on fire in Dhaka's Bijoynagar area during the 48-hour blockade in sixth spell enforced by BNP and Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami.
The bus was set ablaze at Nightingale intersection at 12:53 pm, said Talha Bin Jashim, station officer of the Fire Service and Civil Defence (media cell), reports BSS.
On information, two firefighting units from Siddique Bazar Fire Station went to the spot and doused the fire, he said.
Today is the second day of the two-day countrywide blockade in sixth spell called by BNP and its allies.
