Unveiling of Joint Training Doctrine - Bangladesh Armed Forces 2023

In a significant stride towards modernization and bolstering national defence, the Bangladesh government, under the visionary leadership of the Honorable Prime Minister, has officially approved the "Joint Training Doctrine - Bangladesh Armed Forces 2023." This milestone doctrine was unveiled on Tuesday during the Armed Forces Day celebration, marking a pivotal moment in the nation's commitment to enhancing the capabilities of its armed forces.

Recognizing the paramount importance of joint training in achieving optimal operational capabilities, the Training Directorate of the Armed Forces Division embarked on a yearlong project to develop a comprehensive "Joint Training Doctrine." The doctrine sets forth a set of standards aimed at maximizing the effectiveness of joint training efforts within the armed forces.

In a ceremony held at the Armed Forces Division, the Honorable Prime Minister, flanked by the Chiefs of the three services, Prime Minister's Security Advisor, and the Principal Staff Officer of the Armed Forces Division, officially unveiled the "Joint Training Doctrine - Bangladesh Armed Forces 2023." This fundamental doctrine encompasses a range of concepts and procedures crucial to joint training, with a strong emphasis on the efficient utilization of training resources.

The doctrine is poised to serve as the Capstone Doctrine for the armed forces, providing a comprehensive framework for achieving professionalism through targeted and strategic training initiatives. Its approval signifies the government's unwavering commitment to ensuring the readiness and effectiveness of the Bangladesh Armed Forces in safeguarding national security.

It is noteworthy that this latest development follows the successful implementation of the "National Defence Policy-2018," a milestone document crafted by the government in 2018 to fortify national security. The "Joint Training Doctrine" represents a continued effort by the government to elevate the joint training capabilities of the Armed Forces, reinforcing the nation's defence posture.

This momentous occasion reflects the government's dedication to staying at the forefront of modern military practices and underscores its commitment to the safety and security of the people of Bangladesh. The doctrine was developed based on the guidance of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and the spirit of the Liberation War.
