BNP leader Salahuddin shifted to ICU of BSMMU

Salahuddin Ahmed, former lawmaker and Commerce Affairs Secretary of National Executive Committee of BNP, was shifted to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU) after his health condition deteriorated on Monday midnight. 

BNP chairperson’s press wing officer Shamsuddin Didar confirmed the matter to Jago News on Tuesday.

According to the party source, Salahuddin, who was arrested on August 3, suffered a heart attack in jail a few days ago. Four rings were placed in his heart before his arrest. 

On August 3, DB police arrested Salahuddin from Jatrabari flyover in Dhaka when he was returning his home after appearing in the court.
