Seven people were killed in a collision between a bus and a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Chattogram on Tuesday.
The accident occurred at Charia Board School area under Mirzapur union in Hathazari upazila around 11:45am.
Being informed, members of police and fire service rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately.
Witnesses said the accident took place due to reckless driving of the drivers of the vehicles.
Md Adil Mahmud, Officer-in-charge of Nazirhat Highway Police Station, said seven people were killed and some others injured in a head-on collision between the bus and the auto-rickshaw. The injured were sent to the hospital.
