The Rapid Action Battalion arrested television actress Homayra Himu's so-called lover Mohammad Ziauddin alias Raif on Friday over her death.
RAB leag and media wing director Khandaker Al Moin confirmed the matter to Jago News.
After Himu's death, an allegation surfaced that Rafi had quarreled with her for the last few days and fled keeping her at hospital on the day of her death, he said.
Earlier on Thursday, popular television actress Homayra Himu died in a hospital in Dhaka, Ovinoy Shilpi Sangha President Ahsan Habib Nasim told Jago News.
But he could not say details about her death.
