Miscreants set a bus on fire in the capital’s Mughda around 10:55am on Wednesday amid the second day of the three-day country-wide blockade enforced by BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami.
A firefighting unit brought the fire under control around 11:10am.
Rafi Al Faruq, Duty Officer of the fire service, confirmed the matter to Jago News.
He said a bus of Midlife Paribahan was set on fire in front of the Mughda Medical College. No casualties were reported in the incident.
However, a man was detained from the spot over the incident, said police.
