Twelve dengue patients died and 1,852 were hospitalized in the last 24 hours.
With the latest death, a total of 1,284 people died of dengue to date this year, a Directorate General of Health Services press release said on Tuesday.
As many as 2,58,912 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country since January 1 this year.
Some 2,50,082 out of the hospitalized patients, however, recovered during the period.
