A police constable was killed as a truck hit him when he was on duty in Sirajganj on Monday morning.The deceased is Johurul Islam, 45, son of Abdus Sattar hailed from Gaibandha. Sub Inspector of Bangabandhu Bridge West Police Station Kongkon Biswas said police seized the truck and its helper but the drive managed to flee away.A case was filed in this connection. The dead body was handed over to Jahurul’s family after autopsy, he added.
