Siraj stars with 6 wickets, India bowl out Sri Lanka for 50

Mohammed Siraj claimed six wickets and Hardik Pandya picked three as India bundled out Sri Lanka for 50 runs in the final of Asia Cup 2023 final in Colombo on Sunday.

Siraj picked his first five wickets in 16 balls which is the fastest in ODI cricket history. He later took more wickets.

Earlier, Sri Lanka captain Dasun Shanaka won the toss and opted to bat first against India.

In case of rain, there is a reserve day on Monday for the final.

Sri Lanka made one change, off-spinner Maheesh Theekshana is replaced by legspinner Dushan Hemantha.

Theekshana picked up a hamstring injury during their Super Four match against Pakistan.

For India, Washignton Sundar is in for Axar Patel, while Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Jasprit Bumrah, Kuldeep Yadav and Mohammed Siraj, who missed the last match against Bangladesh are back too.
