Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader left Dhaka on Saturday morning for Singapore for his routine health check-up.
He left Dhaka on a Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight at 8.30am.
Sheikh Walid Foyez, Senior Information Officer of the Road Transport and Bridges Ministry, confirmed the matter to Jago News.
The AL leader has been suffering from chronic heart and lung problems for long.
