Massive fire breaks out at Mohammadpur Krishi Market

A massive fire broke out at the Mohammadpur Krishi Market in the capital early Wednesday.  

The fire originated at around 3:43am. 

The reason behind the fire could not be known immediately. 

A total of seventeen firefighting units are working to bring the fire under control. 

Rashed Bin Khalid, Duty Officer of Fire Service Control Room, confirmed the incident of fire to Jago News at 4:43am. 

He said they were informed about fire in the Krishi Market around 3:43am. Eight firefighting units first rushed to the spot and started working to douse the fire. Later, nine other units also joined them. 

However, army, navy and air force also joined the efforts to douse the fire.
