Fourteen dengue patients died and 2,993 were hospitalized in the last 24 hours.
With the latest death, a total of 730 people died of dengue to date this year, a Directorate General of Health Services press release said on Sunday.
Currently, 9,871 people diagnosed with the mosquito-borne disease are taking treatment at different government and private hospitals in and outside the capital of Dhaka.
Of them, 4,297 are being treated at the facilities in the capital while 5,574 are in other divisions.
As many as 1,48,328 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country since January 1 this year.
Some 1,37,727 out of the hospitalized patients, however, recovered during the period.
