At least 22 people including minors and elderly people died in last seven as houses are sunk due to flood water days in Jamalpur, Kurigram, Sirajganj, Lalmonirhat and Gainbandha district.Among the deceased seven from Jamalpur, seven from Kurigram, four of Sirajganj, three of Lalmonirhat and one hail from Gaibandha. Ayesha Aktar, In charge of National Crisis Management Center and Disease Control Unit of Health Ministry said children and elderly people are in risk of drowning as their den were washed and sunk due to flood water. According to hospitals of the districts at least 1500 people including women and children have been suffering from Diarrhea, skin diseases, inflammatory eye and acute respiratory distress along with several water related diseases.
