The Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) and equivalent exams under the Chittagong Education Board, Madrasah Education Board, and Technical Education Board began at 10am on Sunday.
More than 3 lakh examinees are expected to sit for the exams.
The examinations of the three boards were shifted from August 17 to August 27 due to natural calamities.
The three boards already separately published new dates for the postponed examinations.
According to the Chattogram board, the Bangla first paper examination will be held on September 27 which was scheduled to be held on August 17, Bangla second paper on October 1 instead of August 20, English first paper on October 3 instead of August 22, English second paper on October 5 instead of August 24.
The practical examinations will be held under this board between October 8 and October 16.
As per the madrassah board, the Quran Majid examination will be held on October 1 which was scheduled to be held on August 17, Arabic first paper and Arabic literature on October 3 instead of August 20, Bangla first paper on October 5 instead of August 22, Bangla second paper on October 8 instead of August 24.
The practical examinations will be held under this board between October 9 and October 17.
The deferred written examinations of the HSC vocational, Diploma in Commerce and Business Management and Business Management and Technology will be held between September 7 and September 24.
The practical examinations will be held under this board between September 25 and October 8.
Under this board the practical training will be held between October 21 and November 11.
It is mentionable that, the HSC and equivalent exams under the eight other boards began on 17 August as per the previous schedule.
