Chinese ambassador to Bangladesh Yao Wen on Wednesday said his country will not interfere in election issue of Bangladesh.
It is the international affairs of Bangladesh, he said.
Chinese ambassador told journalists after meeting with Planning Minister M A Mannan at his office in the capital’s Sher-e-Bangla Nagar.
“As a long-time tested friend of Bangladesh, China will provide all kinds of cooperation in the development of bilateral trade relations. If Bangladesh goes from a less developed country to a developing country, China will allow quota-free trade facilities,” the envoy said.
Planning Minister said China wants to invest in infrastructure development in western regions. Chinese investors have interest to jointly work with Bangladesh to produce electric vehicles.
