Three people were killed in a fire at a chemical factory at Godarbagh area in Keraniganj upazila in Dhaka early Tuesday.
Rashed Khalid, Duty Officer of Fire Service and Civil Defence, confirmed the matter to Jago News.
He said bodies of three people were recovered from the spot. Four burn-injured people were also rescued. Identities of the victims could not be known.
He also said being informed, the first unit of the fire service reached the spot at 4:05am. A total of six firefighting units rushed to the spot and brought the fire under control at 6:15am.
