Twelve dengue patients died and 2,959 were hospitalized in the last 24 hours.
With the latest death, a total of 364 people died of dengue to date this year, a Directorate General of Health Services press release said on Thursday.
Currently, 9,790 people diagnosed with the mosquito-borne disease are taking treatment at different government and private hospitals in and outside the capital of Dhaka.
Of them, 4,460 are being treated at the facilities in the capital while 5,330 are in other divisions.
As many as 78,028 dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across the country since January 1 this year.
Some 67,874 out of the hospitalized patients, however, recovered during the period.
