A court in Sunamganj has granted bail to 32 students, including 26 ones of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, who were arrested while touring Tanguar Haor in the district.
The court of Sunamganj Judicial Magistrate Farhan Sadik passed the order on Wednesday after a hearing bail petition, lawyer for the accused Tayebur Rahman Babul confirmed to Jago News.
The hearing of rest two accused is expected to be held at child court as they are underage.
Earlier, police detained 34 people, including 26 students of BUET, when they were touring Tanguar Haor in Tahirpur upazila of Sunamganj on suspicion of planning subversive acts in the name of tour.
