Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has announced a three-day programme demanding caretaker government and release of its Ameer Dr Shafiqur Rahman and other leaders.
The party will hold processions in divisional cities on July 28, demonstrations in all districts on July 30 and rallies in Dhaka city on August 1.
Jamaat’s acting Ameer former lawmaker Mujibur Rahman announced the fresh programmes at an auditorium in the capital on Monday.
The party’s Nayeeb-e-Ameer Syed Abdullah Muhammad Taher, acting Secretary General ATM Taher, Assistant Secretary General AHM Hamidur Rahman Azad, Publicity Secretary Matiur Rahman Akand, Dhaka city north Amaeer Nurul Islam Bulbul and Chhatra Shibir Secretary General Monjurul Islam were, among others, present during this time.
