Three people were killed and seven others injured as a bus and a trolley collided in Barishal Airport Police Station area in Barishal on Saturday afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Emdadul Haque, 38, a resident of Rajmata Kalasbam, Nadim Hawlader, 12, of West Rahmatpur Badamtala and Sinbad of North Rahmatpur in the police station area.
Barishal Airport Police Station inspector Lokman Hossain said a bus and a trolley collided in front of Chhoy Mail Mallick Bari around 2 pm, leaving two dead on the spot and eight others injured.
Later, the injured were rushed to Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital, Barishal where another died, he added.
