The maximum retail prices of bottled, and loose soybean oil have been reduced by Tk 10 and Tk 8 per liter respectively.
Now, a liter of bottled soybean oil is Tk 179, five litters Tk 873 while per liter of loose soybean oil is Tk 159.
The price of palm oil has also been decreased by Tk 12 to Tk 148 per liter.
The Bangladesh Vegetable Oil Refiners and Vanaspati Manufacturers Association said this in a press release.
The fresh prices will come into effect from Wednesday (July 12), the press release said.
