Some 29 bodies of unidentified people were recovered and two were killed in lynching across the country in June.
During the period, 16 people died under jail custody and two others passed away under the custody of law enforcement agencies.
Manabadhikar Shongskriti Foundation (MSF) revealed this in a report on Friday.
The organization prepared the report based on news published in 12 national dailies.
According to the report, around 549 people were tortured in 35 incidents of political violence and three were shot dead by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) this month.
MSF said extra-judicial killings, political violence and minority persecution continued in June, and apart from this, Digital Security Act is being misused and it kept rising.
The organization thinks people are being obstructed from expressing their speech through misusing DSA and it demanded the cancelation of the act.
