Two people were killed and two others injured as a bus overturned on the Bogura-Rangpur Highway in Shibganj upazila of Bogura on Wednesday morning.
Among the deceased, one was identified as Md Al Amin, 15, from Mithapukur upazila of Rangpur.
Police and local sources said a bus of Rangpur-bound 'Baishakhi Paribahan' hit the road divider and overturned on the road in Chandihara area around 6 am, leaving two dead on the spot and two others injured.
Later, the injured were sent to a local hospital.
Gobindaganj Highway Police Station officer in-charge Aminul Islam said the bus driver and his assistant managed to flee.
