The Rapid Action Battalion has arrested the driver of the truck which head-on collision with a pickup van left 15 construction workers dead in Sylhet.
Arrested Shafiqul Islam, 27, hails from Nayapara Moksedpur village in Sadar upazila of Sherpur.
A team of RAB-9 apprehended Shafiqul from his father-in-law's home in Sadar upazila of Patuakhali on Saturday, RAB-9 official ASP Agsan Al Alam told Jago News on Sunday afternoon.

Early Wednesday, a potato-laden truck and a pickup van carrying workers collided head-on on the Dhaka-Sylhet Highway in Kutubpur area of Dakshin Surma upazila, leaving 11 people dead on the spot and many injured.
Out of the injured, four, later, succumbed to their injuries in hospital.
A case was, however, filed against two drivers of the two vehicles with Dakshin Surma Police Station.
