All primary, secondary schools and madrasas reopened on Sunday after closure due to the recent heatwave.
The Department of Secondary and Higher Education has said classes will start from today, but all educational institutions will have to follow six-point directives.
Earlier on June 4, the government primary schools across the country were announced closed for four days from June 5 to June 8 due to the heatwave.

On June 5, in a Directorate of Secondary and Higher Education notice, classroom activities at the primary level attached with all government and non-government secondary schools across the country were announced to be closed till June 8 for the same reason.
On June 7, the secondary level educational institutions of the country were announced closed on June 8 for the same reason.
