The sale of advance train tickets on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha will begin on June 14.
Railways Minister Nurul Islam Sujon said this at a press conference held at Bangladesh Railway Bhaban in Dhaka at 12:30pm on Tuesday.
The minister said, the advance tickets for June 24, 25, 26, 27, and 28 will be available on June 14, 15, 16, 17 and 18 respectively.
Besides, the selling of return tickets will begin from June 22. The return tickets for July 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6 will be available on June 22, 23, 24, 25 and 26 respectively, said Sujon.
The minister also said, the tickets will only be available online. The tickets for all intercity trains plying in the western regions will be sold from 8am. And the tickets for all intercity trains running in the eastern regions will be sold from 12pm.
