Dhaka district unit BNP General Secretary Nipun Roy Chowdhury and several other leaders and activists were injured as a rally of the party was attacked in Keraniganj of the district on Friday.
Dakshin Keraniganj Thana BNP general secretary Mozadded Ali Babu confirmed the matter to Jago News.
He said Awami League leaders and activists threw brickbats at the rally, leaving Nipun and several others injured.
Later, they were taken to a hospital, he added.
As a part of the central program, Dhaka district unit BNP organized the rally.
