Three people were killed in separate road accidents in Bhola on Thursday morning.
The accidents occurred in Bhola Sadar upazila and Borhanuddin upazila.
Md Monir Mia, Officer-in-charge of Borhanuddin Police Station, said two people were killed when a speedy bus ran over a motorcycle at Boudderpul area around 9am. The deceased are Md Monir Sharif, 28 and Md Azgar Ali, 55.
On the other hand, another person was killed in a collision between a bus and a van at Bishwaroad area adjacent to Poranganj bazar in the morning. The deceased is Md Arif Hossain, 25, the van driver, son of Md Ali.
Md Shahin Fakir, Officer-in-charge of Bhola Model Police Station, confirmed the matter.
