An official of Dhaka Power Distribution Company (DPDC) was killed as a bus hit his motorcycle in Shahjadpur area of capital Dhaka on Tuesday afternoon.
Deceased Md Sadrul Haque, 27, worked at Khilgaon zone of DPDC as an engineer and resided along with family in Basabo area in the capital.
One Md Mamunur Rashid said a bus of 'Victor Paribahan' rammed Sadrul's motorcycle when he was going to Indian Visa Application Center at Jamuna Future Park in the capital for taking Indian visa, leaving him seriously injured.
Mamunur said he, later, took him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where the on-duty doctors declared him dead.
DMCH Police Camp in-charge inspector Md Bachchu Mia said the body was kept at the facility morgue and the police station concerned was informed about the incident.
