Two people were killed as a tractor rammed a battery-run auto-rickshaw in Sarail upazila of Brahmanbaria on Saturday afternoon.
The deceased were identified as Al Amin, 14, driver of the auto-rickshaw and resident of Shahbajpur village, and Apon Chandra Das, 14, son of Omalesh Chandra Das of Dhitpur village in the upazila.
A brick-laden tractor hit a battery-run auto-rickshaw in Jadabpur area on the Shahbajpur-Shahjadpur road, leaving its driver dead on the spot and a passenger injured.
The injured was rushed to Sarail Upazila Health Complex where the on-duty doctor declared him dead.
Sarail Police Station officer in-charge Aslam Hossain Confirmed the matter.
