As part of an upcoming series of events surrounding the birth anniversary of late filmmaker Tareque Masud, the Tareque Masud Memorial Trust is proud to announce the TAREQUE MASUD SHORT FILM COMPETITION. The theme of this year’s competition is Nay Bichar Amar Odhikar or Justice is My Right.Films can be fiction, documentary or animation; a maximum of 10 minutes or under in length; and produced after July 1, 2014. Film makers must be between the ages of 16 -25 years. The deadline for the competition is November 15, 2015.The top 10 winning entries will be screened at the upcoming Tareque Masud Festival 2015. The top film will receive the Tareque Masud Young Filmmaker’s Award. Two additional films will be selected for runners up prizes.
